SOLO CUP ENDURANCE SERIES
Q. "Do I need a NORBA / USA Cycling license?"
A. No. We're strictly non-NORBA. No racing license of any kind required.
Q. "How does the series work?"
A. We add up your mile for all of the events in the series. The one with the most miles in a category at the finals wins the series.
Q. "How do it get into the series?"
A. Simply by entering any event in the series. Once you've had a result in any of the events, your name is automatically added to the mileage tally.
Q. "Where do I find the standings?"
A. We keep the standings here on the Team Bigfoot Website.
Q. "Is there a minimum number of events that I have to do?"
A. No. Of course the more races you do the more miles you'll do. And to be eligible for a Solo Cup Trophy you must do the final, we've also had racers take their category championship after having done only two races, the final and one other.
Q. "The miles that I earned last weekend aren't up yet."
A. We tally mile as quickly as we can, but sometimes it can take a week or two. Please be patient.
Q. "THERE'S A MISTAKE IN THE MILEAGE!"
A. Woops! With all the data it takes to tally a series, mistakes happen. Please contact us ASAP, vic@teambigfoot.net. No changes or corrections will be made after October 1. Explain exactly what the mistake is and we'll reply and get it fixed promptly.
Q. "They made a mistake with the results on race day."
A. Team Bigfoot's policy is the same as it is with most other race promoters; We post results on race day then provide a 15-minute protest period. It is a rider's responsibility to check those results and let the officials know right then and there...not during awards, not a week later, but there, that day during the protest period. Once the protest period is over the results are declared official and no further changes will be made. |
