On line entry will close at midnight, May 20, but you will still be able to enter in person at the venue on race day,Trinity High School, 321 Victory Ln. Weaverville, CA.

NO NORBA / USA CYCLING LICENSE REQUIRED. Just say "NO".
Super D Sign Up: Sunday, 5/24 8:00-9:00, At the finish line, about 1/2 mile up Weaver Bally Rd. (past the stop sign before the high school). Shuttles leave at 9:30, race starts at 10:00 am.

Downhill $40 Jrs. (17 & under) $30 Super D $20 ($15 if you're doing the downhill).
NOTE: There will be a $5 race-day entry late fee.

DOWNHILL Sign-Up: Sunday 5/23 9:00-11am, at Trinity High School Downhill Shuttles start as soon as the Super-D is over, probably by 10:45.Timed Runs begin at 1:30 pm.

AWARDS: Bigfoot medals to top 3 in each category. We'll also raffle off a bunch o'schwag at the awards.

COURSES: The Super-D course uses some of the upper 2/3 of the Downhill course, then veers onto a 3-mile section of the famed flume trails of our cross-country course for a total of 6+ miles of swooping, speeding, roller-coaster ride fun!! The Downhill course is about 3.2 miles and has over 1400' of altitude drop. We run shuttles from the the high school. We shuttle with trucks and trailers, and racers who have appropriate 4 wheel-drive high-clearance vehicles are encouraged to shuttle themselves to help speed up the day. Each racer gets as many practice runs as they can squeeze in before timed runs begin at 1:30 pm.

CAMPING: East Weaver Campground is closest. From Weaverville take Highway 3, just past the Weaverville Airport and turn left on East Weaver Rd., go 1 mile to the campground. Daily fee is $10 per site.There's another campground at Junction City, 8 miles west on Hwy299, and another at Rush Creek about 6 miles out Highway 3. Rush Creek has no water, but it's only $7. Or 7 miles weast of Weaverville off Highway 299 to Steiner Flat Road is Douglas City with 18 tent/trailer campsites, group picnic area, picnic tables, telephone, beach, paved loop road, flush and vault toilets, potable water, and fire rings. $10.00 per vehicle, per night .

NOTICE: ABSOLUTELY NO DH SHUTTLES DURING SATURDAY'S 12 HOUR RACE
OKAY AFTER 7PM.

The day before Gravity Day is the 12 Hours of Weaverville. This endurance race goes up Weaver Bally Rd. (the same road we'll shuttle up on Gravity Day) and uses some of the same trails as the Gravity Day Super-D course and Downhill Course. Show your fellow mountain bikers respect and not dust them out with shuttle rigs. Super-D riders willing to pedal up may do the course, but please stay clear of 12 Hr. riders. Downhillers & Super-D riders may shuttle AFTER 7pm. It doesn't get dark until 9 so it is possible to get in 2 practice runs Sat. evening.

SHUTTLE DRIVERS: GO SLOW! ESPECIALLY BY THE A RANCH ABOUT A MILE UP THE ROAD FROM THE SCHOOL. WITHOUT THE OWNER'S SIGNATURE WE CAN'T HAVE THIS RACE. LET'S KEEP HIM HAPPY AND KEEP OUR RACE.
