"The Beast" is dead.
Long live "The Beast."

Kathy asks, "Shall we just shove it in and bury it?"
It is with great sadness that I must regretfully announce that "The Beast," our beloved 1984 4WD Suburban that you all have come to know and love, is no more. While I could have brought you all down easy and explained that we've sent it off to "live on a farm where it has plenty of room to roam," the truth is, it went to the wrecking yard. Too many miles, too much body rot, too many little quirks...it was beyond time.
The good news is that we've picked up a newer, fresher 4WD Suburban (with AC and a new motor!) that will pick up where the Yellow Sub left off. Fear not, the new "Beast" will be there to haul downhillers to the top of Weaver Bolly, to haul the trailer out to Weaverville, Whiskeytown and points beyond.
"The Beast" is dead, long live "The Beast!"
